Earl and his friend Jeff
Earl went to the Amgen Tour of California in Sacramento on Saturday. Spent the WHOLE day looking at the cyclists and was in utter AWE of their speed, bikes, etc. He took over 500 pictures! Why, you ask? I don't know... I don't get it... but here are a few of my favorites.

McDreamy was there... AND I WASN'T!!! I was pretty bummed about that one to say the least! If you don't know who he is, GET WITH THE PROGRAM PEOPLE!!!
Lance Armstrong was there! Earl was thrilled to be able to see him ride in person. He is very proud of his pictures since Lance was riding at probably 30 miles per hour.
Lance Armstrong's bike! No, Earl wasn't the one who stole it... I promise!!! But here is a great picture of it before it was stolen! Cool!
It was a great day for him to be able to enjoy with some friends, watch the tour, and practice taking pictures :)
Friday the 13th was my birthday. I'm one year older, but I don't know if I'm wiser too! Hehehe! I hope I am! The kids had the day off from school and Jonathan and Joshua slept over at the Knudson's house. My little ones slept in until 10 am!!! This is just unheard of... not normal for my house! I had the whole house to myself all morning... it was so quiet and peaceful! Thanks for that great birthday gift! Earl bought me beautiful flowers. My favorite are dark red roses, and he buys some for me almost every year. He also brought home a wonderful cheesecake which we are still picking at each night. We are savoring every bite! The Gomez family (friends of ours from when we lived in San Jose) came to stay the weekend with us and we had a great time with them from Saturday until Monday. We cook, eat, talk, play, cook, eat, ... you get the picture. We have a great time with them and miss them already! And yes, we made ANOTHER PERFECT flan! We are soooo good!
